In his presentation, The Nature of Success, is designed to equip leaders and teams to use the shifting marketplace as a tool for competitive advantage. Ian explores how business teams can learn from the behaviours and characteristics iconic African animals to create sustained success. Each of the animals have developed their own competitive advantages that allows them to thrive in this rapidly changing and intensely competitive ecosystem:
Lion = Teamwork
Leopard = Innovation and Resilience
Giraffe = Leadership
Elephant = Relationship and Communication
Ian also designs and delivers interactive documentaries that virtually transports participants into worlds that are volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous. From the summit of Mt Cook to the bushveld of the African Kruger National Park to the depths of the famous diving caves of South Australia. The extreme nature of these environments neutralises traditional subject matter and opens the mind to learning. He uses these interactive documentaries to frame business-focused conversations that rapidly align individuals and teams.
