The only way you get to watch some of the most talented and award-winning stars on Australia’s musical theatre stage is to go to a musical right? Wrong! The co-creator of international corporate entertainment phenomenon The Three Waiters has done it again, delivering yet another corporate entertainment block buster called The Leading Men. So now, corporate audiences can be thrilled and entertained by some of the biggest names in Australian musical theatre.

The Leading Men are exactly what they sound like – stars of musical theatre who all played “leading roles” and were bona fide “leading men” in Australia’s most loved musicals.

If you’ve been to a musical in Australia in the past 10 years, chances are you’ve seen one, if not all of them. Unlike The Three Waiters, The Leading Men has no opera, no hoax, and no waiters! The Leading Men perform the Broadway showstoppers that made them stars – but there’s a twist! Not all songs are performed the way you are used to hearing them – for example there’s a jazz version of a hit song from Les Miserables and their signature “Italian Medley” is a combination of Australia’s most loved rock songs (Cold Chisel, AC/DC and John Farnham) sung in Italian invoking the style of “Il Divo”!

Together their careers span almost every major musical including Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Beauty and the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Les Miserables, Spamalot, Wicked, High School Musical, Camelot, Cabaret, The Full Monty, Chess, Grease, Guys and Dolls, Sweeney Todd 42nd St and Buddy. The show can be further enhanced with the inclusion of a “Leading Lady” and/or can incorporate a “Jersey Boys” tribute including a medley of hits by Franki Valli and the Four Seasons - Oh What a Night, Walk like a Man, Sherry Baby, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Can’t take my Eyes off of You, My Eyes Adored you”.
