Thomas Cochran is currently the chief digital strategist and vice president for a leading provider of cloud-based, digital experience management solutions. He spent over four years in the Obama administration as a presidential appointee and digital leader.
He helps large and small companies, governments, and organisations assess their digital innovation needs, from websites to advanced threat protection, implement cutting edge solutions, and ultimately deliver a better product to their customers.
Most recently, he held a Deputy Assistant Secretary role at the U.S. Department of State running their global digital public diplomacy platforms. He also spent time running digital technology for the White House to amplify the President’s message. This culminated in the launch of ‘We the People’ in 2011.
In the private sector, Tom was the first person hired by Obama campaign's digital team and he spent a number of years engineering the early applications that would grow into the robust digital platform which helped President Obama raise $1.2 billion online in two election cycles.
Tom has over 20 years of digital experience, pushing transformation in small start-ups to bureaucracies like the U.S. Department of State.
