Romaine graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Hons) in 2000. After graduating she travelled to London where she worked as an Art Director for a boutique advertising agency, working on national print campaigns.
After her stint overseas she took on the position of interior design editor for prestigious Belle Magazine, which she held for 5 years both writing and styling. Romaine was integral in upholding the luxury aesthetic the magazine is known for.
Romy crafted the ability to adapt to a vast breadth of styles and forged strong relationships with the industry. In 2006 she took up the opportunity to establish and run the NSW Division of Coco Republic Interior Design. The division quickly became a successful part of the company's portfolio and brand.
Her keynote speaking today is centred around her experience in these fields and her current media work.
In 2008 Romaine got the opportunity to present interior segments for Channel 9's Domestic Blitz, a renovation show helping families in need and has since started appearing on The Living Room as one of their design challengers.
At the same time she has established her own interiors company, specialising in interior design, furniture, creative direction for domestic and boutique commercial applications.
