Glenn Searle Travels from Brisbane, QLD

Glenn Searle began his career in Health and Physical Education at primary and secondary level. Motivated by the love of learning and making a difference in peoples' lives he diversified into Training and Organisational Development, Human Resource Development, Occupational Health and Safety, and Online Learning and Blended Delivery.

Glenn has published and presented a number of papers at national and international learning and leadership conferences. A series of keynote addresses in New Zealand re-ignited his passion for sharing knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

Recent study in the area of Sport and Organisational Psychology has led Glenn to investigate the notion of inspiration as a key leadership and psychological phenomenon.  Glenn has developed a unique model in support of leaders who look to unleash the potential of others through inspiring leadership. 

His research on leading to inspire others was published in the Leadership and Organisational Development Journal in 2011. Interest generated through the presentation of his findings led to the authoring of two books, ‘a breath of fresh air: the leader’s guide to inspiring others’  and  ‘Inspiring Leaders: Practical Insights. The books are designed to help leaders learn practical strategies to lead, energise and inspire others.

Glenn is also an experienced Master of Ceremonies and Facilitator, in particular within the government and educational sectors.

Glenn has held a range of senior management roles in the Queensland Government. He thrives on innovation and most recently has a leading role in applying innovative approaches to the design and delivery of learning solutions for adults, students and corporate learners. Glenn’s wealth of educational experience enables him to apply a diversity of interactive methodologies to ensure participants are engaged and empowered to learn.

Throughout his career Glenn has been a sought after public speaker because of his exceptional talents in engaging an audience and inspiring learning outcomes. Glenn has a reputation for engaging and empowering presentations and he plans to create more time and opportunity in his life to fulfil his love of speaking and reaching audiences.
