Glen is a Veterinary honours graduate from University of Queensland. He completed a Post Graduate Research Masters at James Cook University researching production and reproduction parameters in Bos Indicus Cattle. He practiced companion Animal medicine and surgery in Brisbane, Townsville and London before commencing practice ownership and establishing Greencross Vets in Townsville in 1994.
He was Founding Managing Director (until 2014) and Foundation Shareholder of Greencross Ltd (Australia's largest veterinary group with a network of veterinary businesses across Australia); Foundation Non-Exec Director and Shareholder of Petbarn Pty Ltd, (Australia’s leading pet retailer with large format pet stores across Australia and New Zealand and a Past Non-Exec director of Lyppard Australia, one of Australia’s leading Veterinary wholesalers.
He established China’s first western veterinary practice Shanghai PAW in 2001 with branches in Puxi and Pudong.
Glen retired from executive role at Greencross Ltd in December 2014. His current directorships include Greencross Ltd, Regeneus Ltd, Smartvet Pty Ltd, 1300Smiles Ltd, myFootDr Pty Ltd and he a member of the advisory board for Montserrat Day Hospitals.
Recently recruited as the new Shark on Channel 10’s Shark Tank Series. Shark Tank, as well as being prime time entertainment promotes entrepreneurship and innovation and assists early stage entrepreneurs with funding, publicity and mentorship.
