Garth Tander is one of the absolute stars of the highly competitive Supercar Championship.
Having made his debut in 1998 as the reigning Australian Formula Ford champion, he spent seven seasons with GRM during his first spell, including a Bathurst win and second in the championship in 2000.
An outstanding race performer at the highest level of motorsport in Australia, Garth was the Supercars Champion in 2007 and finished third behind Jamie Whincup in 2008 and 2009.
He won three Bathurst 1000s at the iconic Mount Panorama circuit and finished first and second in the only two iterations of the Bathurst 24hr Race.
Garth has competed in the Australian GT Championship in 2014 (Aston Martin) and 2015 (McLaren) as well as the Bathurst 12hr race from 2016 to 2019 driving an Audi R8 LMS.
He sits fifth on Supercars’ all-time winners’ list with 57 victories, behind only Jamie Whincup, Craig Lowndes, Mark Skaife and van Gisbergen.
Now engaged as a co-driver for the Red Bull Holden Racing Team in the Supercars Enduro series, Garth continues to be one of Australia’s most professional and respected athletes.
