Tania Kelly is the founder of Kelly Health: Mental Health & Addiction Solutions Pty Ltd, helping many professionals understand addiction, and gain confidence in recognising and supporting people struggling with drug and alcohol issues. Her book Keep Calm and Treat Addiction: Your 12-step guide to client recovery is a powerful tool in understanding the change process and how to skillfully navigate the client’s recovery journey. Tania is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing and is experienced in facilitating both face to face and online groups. After 24 years in a diverse nursing career, in 2013 Tania discovered a passion for supporting people in their mental health and addiction journeys, and has established her own nurse-led clinic, Kelly Health: Mental Health & Addiction Solutions in Mackay, Queensland. In addition to private practice, her leadership and counselling experience spans across a variety of treatment environments inclusive of inpatient, outreach, and community-based settings.

Tania’s experience in owning and co-managing a Smash Repair business equips her to understand industry and business, and the challenges substance use poses to managers in the workplace. Furthermore, her years of experience working with adolescents in high school settings, places her well-prepared to understand the demands and challenges substance use creates for educators and support staff. Tania’s diverse career ensures an approachable, adaptable, and engaging style suitable for any organisation.
