Justin Jones - otherwise affectionately known as Jonesy, is one of Australia’s pre-eminent explorers, keynote speakers, adventure thinkers and storytellers.

Over the past 19 years he has made a career of undertaking huge, epic, record setting expeditions around the world and sharing these on the stage and on screen. To date he’s spoken to over 400,000 people in 20 countries around the world and millions have watched his award winning documentaries.

He’s kayaked across the Tasman Sea from Australia to New Zealand, become the first to ski to the South Pole and back and walked across the Australian Outback with his one year old daughter. He currently holds two Guinness World Records and holds a place as one of Australia’s 50 Greatest Explorers of all time, all achieved before his thirties!

His presentations are enhanced by jaw-dropping video clips and stunning photography from his adventures. The old saying a picture paints a thousand words only partly explains the profound impact his multi-media has. Because much of it is unique and beautifully captured - it sticks. People remember the imagery, and the inspiration long after the conference is over.

In his keynote he uses anecdotes from his expeditions that highlight the extreme hardship of operating in incredibly hostile environments with zero margin for error. Lessons about resilience, grit, determination, empathy, leadership, teamwork and kindness. Stories that encapsulate the best of the human condition. His desire is to create a narrative and experience that will take your audience on an emotional rollercoaster that will have them fired up for the future, and ripe for the lessons woven through his presentation. He incorporates vision and imagery taken from these expeditions to transport them to the depths of an Antarctic Blizzard, the suffocating heat of the Outback or the maelstrom of a storm at sea.

A gloriously ordinary bloke… he is the perfect example of how determination, detailed planning and foresight can enable the most ‘normal’ of us to undertake the most extraordinary feats.
